How do you determine the amount of my mini-grant?
- The full mini-grant amount is earned when 80% or more participants return worksheets. Duplicate forms and forms returned with no questions answered are discarded and do not count toward the grant.
- Earn an Amazon eGift card when your class submits the Home Energy Worksheets online by the program deadline.
- $50 for 80% or greater return
How long will I need to wait for my mini-grant?

- Mini-grants are processed after a teacher reaches 80% of submitted Home Energy Worksheets or after the program deadline.
- You will receive an email to verify online entries and when your mailed packet is received.
- Log in at pas.nef1.org/teacher-portal/ with your email. This link is included in the emails from your scheduler for easy access. On this site you can see:
- the number of mailed forms
- the number of forms we are expecting from you based on registration numbers and your current percentage returned
- the grant you have earned to date and the status of your grant payment

What are the guidelines for spending the grant money?
Grant funds can be used for any purpose the designated teachers choose that will benefit students.
When can we enroll?
Registration is open now. See the registration link on our Home Page. Qualified schools will be contacted for details.
How can other teachers I know enroll?
Please feel free to share the program information enrollment website with colleagues!
Teachers and administrators may register by clicking the registration link on the Home Page. After school eligibility is determined, an Educational Service Representative will contact teachers to verify the information and set up deliveries of teacher materials and Take Action Kits.
