Access Materials

After registering, you will receive a welcome email and access to in-class and virtual presentations and e-learning resources.

Your program guide includes optional classroom activities, posters and ancillary materials available via program emails and your online portal.

Students receive an Innovation Kit of energy-efficient products and a Home Energy Worksheet to accompany the kit. Consumers Energy offers incentives to teachers and students for submitting the Home Energy Worksheet.

Resources for remote learning:

If your students are with you in the classroom and/or virtual students are learning synchronously, you can show the recorded presentation if we cannot do a live version for your class. The page linked above has two versions of the presentation, one for science classes and one for social studies classes.

The Innovation e-learning course done with Kahoot! can be used as an independent assignment. Students can prove they have completed course modules by submitting screenshots of the scoreboard page that appears at the end to you. The Kahoot! challenge will be posted by October 27.

Kahoot! is an online quizzing platform that is free for teachers. We have designed a few Kahoot! quizzes that you can use as an alternative to paper and pencil pre/post surveys or enrichment. Feel free to duplicate them and edit for your own use. Teachers do have to have a Kahoot! account, but there is a free account available.
