Resources for remote learning

To support you when we cannot physically visit you in the classroom, we have provided online learning strategies for use with Think! Energy Take Action Kits and Family Activity.

Choose from a recorded version of our presentation slides designed for teacher use with the option to pause the recording and discuss as needed, and/or an e-learning course designed for students to complete independently.

Share the presentation or e-learning course with your students near the time they get their take-home kits and booklets. Also, provide students with your teacher ID number for use in doing the Home Energy Worksheet. You can find this ID number in your program emails and teacher folder. You and your students can also use the ID lookup feature on the Home Energy Worksheets page of this website.

The password is found in your program emails. You can also email Stephanie Dorman for the password.

Presentation Kahoot!

Independent e-learning course

The Energy Champions e-learning course can be used as an assignment over several days. We do not recommend requiring students to complete the entire course in one sitting. Students can prove they have completed the modules of the course by submitting screenshots of the scoreboard page that appears between modules or the final certificate. The certificate can also be printed/saved as a PDF and provided to you. If you would like to embed the course in your learning management system as a SCORM file, your program contact would be happy to provide it. Note: this course is designed for upper elementary students.
