Welcome to the Student Energy Education Kit Initiative!
The goal of this Initiative is to help students and families learn ways to use energy and water more efficiently at home, at school and in the community. The Student Energy Education Kit Initiative is offered to qualified 5th grade classrooms across the Ameren Illinois territory. The Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program is proud to sponsor this Initiative.
Throughout this website, teachers, students and their families will find resources that help save energy, water and money, while reinforcing valuable concepts in your student or child's curriculum. Initiative materials are correlated to the Illinois Learning standards, STEM and Next Generation Science Standards.
