Who are we and what do we do?
The fun and informative Be Wattsmart, Begin at home program assists teachers and students to learn about energy, discuss important energy topics and engage in energy efficiency actions. Students will participate in a presentation addressing natural resources, energy basics and energy efficiency. The program reinforces energy concepts from curriculum and teaches lifelong lessons on energy and efficiency. The program also provides posters and activity guides for teachers and students to empower participants to be leaders in energy efficiency. This program is sponsored by Rocky Mountain Power and in school presentations are conducted by the National Energy Foundation.
When is the program offered?
This program is offered in the fall.
How can schools participate in the program?
Teachers and administrators may register by clicking the link above. After school eligibility is determined, an Educational Service Representative will contact teachers to verify information and set up a date and time for the presentation.
