How do you determine the amount of my mini-grant?
- You can earn an Amazon e-Gift card when your students fill our and return the Home Energy Worksheets (HEW) found inside of each Energy Innovation Kit. You will earn:
- $100 with a 50% HEW return rate
- $50 with a 30 – 49% HEW return rate
- $25 with a 30% HEW return rate
How long will I need to wait for my mini-grant?
- It could take up to 3 weeks to receive your mini-grant, from the time we begin processing your students’ worksheets.
- You will receive an email to verify online entries and when your mailed packet is received.
- Log in at pas.nef1.org/teacher-portal/ with your email. This link is included in the emails from your scheduler for easy access. On this site you can see:
- the number of mailed forms
- the number of forms we are expecting from you based on registration numbers and your current percentage returned
- the grant you have earned to date and the status of your grant payment.
What are the rules for spending the grant money?
Grant funds can be used for any purpose the designated teachers choose that will benefit the classroom.
