The fun and informative NIPSCO Energy Efficiency Education Program reinforces energy concepts from curriculum and teaches lifelong lessons on energy and water efficiency. Fifth grade students and teachers receive Take Action Kits containing energy saving devices. This project-based program also provides a presentation, posters and activity guides for teachers and students to empower participants to be leaders in energy efficiency.

This program is offered in the fall and spring.

Fifth grade teachers and administrators may register by clicking the link above. After school eligibility is determined, an Educational Support Coordinator will contact teachers to verify information and set up deliveries of teacher materials and Take Action Kits.

NIPSCO supports teachers by educating students on required energy and safety standards. The NIPSCO Energy Safe Kids (ESK) program takes place at schools in your area with the 4th and/or 5th grade students.
